Sideline chatH.I.M. Inc's monthly service project was a success. H.I.M. in conjunction with Epic Creations Barbershop partnered to have a Back to School Drive to give elementary and middle students free bookbags and haircuts for the beginning of the 2021/2022 school year. H.I.M.'s founder, the honorable Kwame Christian, walked the streets of Newark, New Jersey and handed out bookbags and school supplies to those students, parents and grandparents in need and the organization was happy to participate in this endeavor for the community. One father of two students could not believe we were handing out these items and when after the 5th time telling him the supplies were free, he hugged and repeatedly thank me. Our first service project of the school year was complete success! |
